Rosalie’s Book Nook Has a Fresh New Look!

We’ve refreshed, reorganized, and restocked the shelves—making it the perfect time to stop by, grow your personal book collection, and support the library.

Every purchase from Rosalie’s Book Nook directly benefits the Danville Library Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to funding library programs, events, and special projects.

Missed Our Community Conversations? Here’s Another Chance!

Our recent Community Conversations were such a success that we’re hosting two more sessions next month. Join us at the time that works best for you:

  • Monday, November 3 at 12:00 p.m.

  • Wednesday, November 5 at 6:00 p.m.

If you value library programs, rely on library services, or care about the role libraries play in building strong communities, this is a conversation you won’t want to miss. Together, we’ll discuss how libraries are funded, how your tax dollars are used, and what’s at stake with new legislation.

These sessions will also shine a spotlight on the Danville Library Foundation, highlighting the impact they’re making during this critical time, and sharing how you can get involved to support the Danville-Center Township Public Library.

"The Academy" by Elin Hilderbrand

Departing from her signature Nantucket beach reads, Elin Hilderbrand has teamed up with her daughter, Shelby Cunningham, to co-author The Academy, a suspenseful coming-of-age novel. Set at the prestigious Tiffin Academy, the novel pulses with secrets, ambition, and emotional depth as it explores the lives of students and faculty caught in a web of lies and loyalty.

This book is perfect for fans of Gossip Girls, elite academia, multiple POVs, and cozy reads.

"Wild Reverence" by Rebecca Ross

Set centuries before the New Times Bestseller Divine Rivals comes the sweeping prequel Wild Reverence. Matilda, the youngest goddess of her clan, is gifted with modest messenger magic—and a dangerous secret. In a world where gods kill for power and alliances shatter with a whisper, survival means staying unseen. But when a mortal boy who once dreamed of her—Vincent of Beckett—reappears in her life, everything changes. Matilda must choose between the ruthless ways of the gods and the terrifying risk of opening her heart.

Perfect for anyone who enjoys lyrical prose, vivid world-building, mythology, and selfless love stories.

"The English Masterpiece" by Katherine Reay

“That’s a forgery!” These three little words dramatically alter the life of Lily Summers. With time running out, her position at the Tate Gallery hanging by a thread, and investigators closing in, Lily must unravel the mystery of who truly created the artwork before it's too late in this gripping historical novel. I absolutely adored the 1970s glamour! Additionally, the clever Easter eggs referencing early James Bond films and The Thomas Crown Affair were delightful touches that enhanced this already dazzling story.

This book is perfect for anyone who enjoys art, mystery, self discovery and a hint of romance.
