Take Flight
December 19, 2024
Greetings
Yesterday we had a holiday celebration of community in the hangar. We would like to thank the students, staff, parents, mentors, community members, NH Aviation Museum staff and Board members, brothers, sisters, wives, and, of course, Santa for stopping by.
It was great to see our students showing off all they have learned since September. The plane has come so far!
Our world traveler, mentor, and friend, Christina, brought swag from four different airlines. Our students had fun seeing it all. Christina's next trip is in January, and she plans to continue collecting.
Jeff Rapsis, Executive Director of the Aviation Museum, and Bob Hough, an Aviation Museum Board member, donated an antique wooden propeller to the hangar. We will hang it proudly to remember those who came before and the great strides they made in aviation. We are grateful to the Museum and the family of Barbara Miles for this donation.
Thanks to everyone who came, brought food, and helped us celebrate our amazing kids and this opportunity. Our students even got some time on the flight simulator!
We wish you health, happiness, and clear skies in the new year.
As Santa said, in one of his better lines in recent memory, from all of us,
Merry Christmas to All, and to All, a Good Flight!
See you in 2025.
