Family Handbook Family Handbook

I am excited to share that our newly revised Family Handbook for the 2025-2026 school year is now available by clicking the link below. This comprehensive guide serves as your essential resource for understanding Saint Peter School's policies, procedures, and community expectations.

Updating this handbook has been a significant summer project of mine and I hope that you find that it has been thoughtfully updated from previous versions to provide clearer information and a more usable organization. This is where you should look if you have questions about almost anything! It contains information about practical details like pickup procedures and uniform requirements and also some explanation of deeper topics like our approach to character formation and spiritual development. My hope is that this handbook will help every family navigate the school year successfully!

Please take time to review the handbook carefully. The signed acknowledgment form will be provided to you by your homeroom teacher during the end of the first week of school.

As always, the handbook reflects our commitment to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and building a vibrant community where every child can thrive. If you have any questions about the policies or procedures outlined in the handbook, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Brendan J. O'Connor is our new ASP Director! Brendan J. O'Connor is our new ASP Director!

This year we will have very few staffing changes, but one of the major changes is that Brendan J. O'Connor (Learning Center) will be taking over from Patricia Carazo as our After School Director.

This decision comes after a period of discernment for Patricia that finally resulted in her decision to step back from the role for a time. We are so grateful to Patricia for running the program for these past several years, and appreciate her guidance as Brendan takes over the reins. Patricia will remain in her position as Spanish Teacher, now with more time than ever to focus on her classroom instruction!

Brendan is excited to begin the role, and we have already begun making some positive changes to the way that the program operates, including adjustments to our daily structure and billing processes. You should expect to hear from Mr. O'Connor in the next two weeks as he gets settled into his new role and shares more details about these upcoming improvements.

Thank you all for supporting both Mr. O'Connor and Ms. Carazo during this transition!

Student Medical Information Student Medical Information

Please be advised that, particularly for new parents, we must have your updated medical forms and vaccination records for your children to attend Saint Peter School. Please submit your medical forms to the nurses office at your earliest convenience. The nurses office will follow up with families at the beginning of the school year, but begin gathering your information now!

Saint Peter School Parent Directory Saint Peter School Parent Directory

This year, back by popular demand, we are sharing a "Parent Directory" for all classes at SPS. This Parent Directory is a resource designed to help families connect with one another, help students to find neighborhood peers, support classroom activities, arrange play-dates and birthday parties, plan carpools and last-minute pickups, and more! Our desire for this document is to strengthen and further connect our school community. I hope you find it useful throughout the summer!

The parent directory is assembled from the information that parents share on FACTS. Some information is withheld at the request of those parents. If you see any information that requires an update, or if you would like to redact some of your own information, please contact ekristiansen@saint-peter-school.org and the change will be made for the next version of the directory (likely monthly updates).

The parent directory was shared with you all via RenWeb direct email. We share this newsletter on our website and wish to keep the parent directory information confidential. Please check your email or get in touch if you do not have the current revision of the directory.

Summer Work Packets Summer Work Packets

A few parents have reached out to ask for a digital version of the summer work packets that our teachers provide for students each summer. You will find those packets on our school's website by doing the following:

  • Navigate to https://saint-peter-school.org
  • Hover over the "Academics" menu bar item item in the top middle of the page
  • Click on "2025 Summer Work and Supply Lists"
  • Navigate to the appropriate grade for your student and download the PDF of the summer work and supply list packet

You can also simply click on the button below to go directly to the Supply List folder

In most cases, you will find only one file in each folder (as well as a "Packet Components" folder that you can ignore). Hope that's helpful!
