FCUSD acknowledges that our schools and offices stand on the unceded lands of the Nisenan and Miwok peoples, whose stewardship, traditions, and resilience continue to enrich our community.
November is also CA Sikh American Awareness & Appreciation Month
November is Sikh American Awareness and Appreciation Month in California, a time to recognize and celebrate the vibrant culture, rich history, and meaningful contributions of the Sikh community.
Join FCUSD in honoring the Sikh community and their remarkable journey and enduring influence within our schools and throughout our broader community.

DrumPerks Assembly
Our students surpassed their Cheetah Chase fundraising goal and earned a high-energy DrumPerks assembly! This unique experience combined the excitement of drumming with powerful lessons in teamwork, leadership, and cultural appreciation. Through rhythm and movement, students practiced core values like best effort, respect, and focus while learning about world cultures and the power of collaboration.
FCUSD Needs Assessment Survey
Folsom Cordova Unified School District requests your input on topics that support the education of your child. Your responses and suggestions will be used to better evaluate and improve instructional programs, policies and procedures of our schools that affect everyone. Please complete this survey that best describes your knowledge or understanding of the programs and services to assist us in better support our English Learners (EL).
Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day
Is Next Friday!
Ruby Bridges was just six years old when she made history by walking to school to help make education fair for everyone. Her brave steps remind us how important it is to stand up for what’s right.
On Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day, we invite all students and families to walk to school together to honor Ruby’s courage and celebrate kindness, inclusion, and community. For students who live farther away, we’ll be meeting at both Ernie Sheldon Park and Big Foot Park to walk to school together. Meet at 7:45 and walk at 7:50am. We will have some Ruby Bridges swag and muffins for those who participate.
On November 14th, let’s wear purple and walk together to show that every step counts toward a better future!

Coach's Corner
In P.E. class one of the most important lessons we teach is good sportsmanship. Whether we win or lose, we focus on being respectful, encouraging teammates, and showing kindness to others. These values help students grow into confident, compassionate individuals both on and off the field.
Here are some quick videos to share with your kids, thank you for reinforcing these lessons at home. Together, we’re helping our kids become great players and even better people!
