MA Releases State Accountability Data - A Reason to Celebrate!!
The state officially released our 2025–2026 accountability data, and this week’s Pirate Press shares some incredible news with our HHS Pirate community! Thanks to the unwavering dedication of our students and the strong support of our community, HHS earned an Accountability Percentile of 79—officially placing us in the top quartile of all high schools in our cohort across Massachusetts. This achievement reflects sustained progress over the past two years, rising from a 58 percentile in 2023–2024 and a 70 in 2024–2025 to a 79 this past year. Performing in the top quarter of Massachusetts, a state consistently recognized as a national leader in public education, is a monumental accomplishment, and one our entire school community should celebrate with immense pride. Finally, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our faculty and staff for their efforts and hard work making this success possible!

Superintendent's Message
One of the key points of the new strategic plan for the Hull Public Schools is focused on "Engagement and Partnerships". The Strategic Objective for this key point states: Foster strong relationships among schools, families, and the community through clear communication, meaningful engagement, and collaborative partnerships that support the success of every student.
Every fall, we host an open house in each of our 3 "schools". At the Jacobs School, we held an open house for middle level grades (6 & 7) on a different night than the elementary school grades (PK-5). We believe this fall tradition is a meaningful way the schools engage with the families and caregivers of our students.
As we work to implement our strategic plan, we intend to send short surveys to collect feedback from our families and caregivers. We want to know if our efforts are meaningful and have a positive impact for their child. Here is a LINK to a short survey on our fall open house held at each school. Thanks for taking a few moments to provide us with your thoughts and feedback.
Community. Confidence. Curiosity.
