Campbell October Newsletter
October 2025
π£ Congratulations on helping your student through their first month of preschool!
We have been in school for one month! It is amazing to see how everyone is settling into the school routine. Young brains thrive on consistency and need routine to feel safe. Thank you for doing your part to get your student to school, on time all day, to help us have a successful day.
Helpful Tip:
When we talk about a childβs actions we try to stay away from using the terms good and bad. Instead, we use the words safe and unsafe or helpful and hurtful. These words help children see the WHY behind their actions.
Examples of how to use it:
β’ How do keep it safe at school?
β’ How do you stay safe in the parking lot?
β’ When you hit your brother, was that helpful or hurtful?
IMPORTANT Arrival & Dismissal Reminders:β’ What are things that helping hands do?
- You may not pull onto the blocked off northbound lane of Grant (which is blocked off) to drop off your child. Please utilize the car line in the parking lot off Main St or park in a parking lot.
- While waiting for car line to start, do not block the entrance or the exit to parking spaces north of the school. We have staff members that may need to enter or exit during both morning and afternoon arrival.
- While waiting in car line, please do not block personal driveways. Thank you!

October: Cool Heads & Kind Hearts
October is all about mastering mad feelings and making room for everyone! π Weβre learning to spot anger signs, calm down, and build awesome friendships. Plus, Red Ribbon Week is coming to celebrate safe and healthy choices! π¦
Home-to-School Connection Ideas:
β Keep emotion talks rolling β notice feelings in stories and how people change when they cool off. π¬οΈ
β Chat about fairness β even when things arenβt perfect, we can help everyone feel included. π€
If your child needs more support, reach out to Miss Abby via email or seesaw.
