MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL BANKS
Dear Eagles,
As we step into May, we embrace a time of celebration and gratitude. May 5th - May 9th, marks Teacher Appreciation Week. This week is a special opportunity to recognize our passionate, supportive, inclusive, and dedicated educators and their impact on our students and the broader community.
Our teachers go beyond imparting knowledge; they inspire, mentor, and shape the future. One shining example is Mr. Anaya, whose innovative teaching methods and commitment to student success have made a significant difference in our classrooms. Mr. Anaya represents the excellence and dedication found throughout our teaching staff.
This week also brings another significant event: Decision Day on Wednesday, May 7th. It’s a moment to celebrate our seniors as they announce their post-secondary plans, whether it’s college, vocational training, military service, or entering the workforce. Our teachers and counselors have been instrumental in guiding students through these decisions, providing support that extends beyond academics to personal growth and future planning.
I encourage you to take a few minutes to honor and acknowledge one or more of your teachers. A simple note, a heartfelt thank you, or a shared story of appreciation can mean the world to those who dedicate their lives to teaching.
~Principal Banks

AP Testing
AP Test season is here! Over the next two weeks, our students will take their AP exams. We know they have been working hard all year for this moment. Make sure our students get a good night sleep for their exam, and wish them luck! The AP test schedule is shown below. Each student/family will receive an email with final reminders and test location 24-48 hours before their exam (this information should just be reminders of what their teachers are already telling them in class).
To protect our testing environment we are shutting down the use of Quiet Zones.
Building Hours
This is a friendly reminder that our building hours are from 7:00 am until 5:30 pm. We are noticing that students are wandering the buidling after school hours because they are not in programs. This sometimes leads them into unsupervised areas which is a safety concern. Students should not be in the building after 5:30 pm (with the exception of clubs and sports).
