🚧 Our students had a great time at New Hampshire Construction Career Days!
They explored a wide variety of careers in construction and transportation through hands-on exhibits and interactive demonstrations. Students got to try welding, plumbing, surveying, electrical wiring, hammering, bricklaying, using drills, and even operating heavy equipment—some even got to sit in the driver’s seat of machinery!
In addition to hands-on activities, students had the opportunity to meet contractors, trainers, program representatives, and journey workers to learn more about career paths, training programs, and local opportunities in the trades. Labor unions, construction companies, school districts, state agencies, and professional organizations all collaborated to provide an up-close look at these exciting industries.
It was a fantastic opportunity for students to gain real-world experience, explore career paths, and see the wide range of skills and teamwork that go into construction and transportation!
