Hello FamiLEE,

We had a great week ending with Lee High School teachers earning a combined total of $30,400 worth of DRIVE grants from Toyota and the United Way! We are so excited for our teachers and overall school.

Just as a reminder, report cards were sent home Thursday. If you have questions about your child's grade, please contact his/her teacher.

Come out and celebrate the football game tonight against Hazel Green at Hazel Green High School. We are ending College Application Week. Senior parents, please ask your child what college they applied to.

Our Magnet Fall Arts Festival will be in the Theatre area tomorrow, October 12th between 10am-12pm and we invite all of you to attend. Our theatre magnet will be putting on their first play "The Syringa Tree" next week between October 17-19, 2024. Tickets can be purchased at leehightheatre.ludus.com. Wednesday, October 16, 2024 is another testing day for us. It is very important that all students be in attendance these days.

October 16

Finally, please help us by making sure your young adult is meeting dress code daily. We do not want this to be our focus, but we do have a dress code and everyone is expected to follow it.

Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Shout-Outs Shout-Outs

  • Shout-out to our Freshmen of the Week from this week! Sophia Castillo comes to us from AAA Middle. Here at Lee she is in the marching band and is in the Creative Writing magnet. In her spare time she likes to sleep and play with her two dogs. When she graduates from high school she would like to go to college and major in biology. Her favorite teacher at Lee is Mr. Pearson because he creates a space where you can express your feelings and get all of your energy out. Jovann Leslie comes to us from Chapman Middle. Here at Lee he is in the marching band and would like to play basketball. In his spare time he likes to play basketball with his friends and play video games. When he graduates from high school he would like to go to college but is undecided on what career to go into. His favorite teacher at Lee is Mr. Pearson because he helps his students be successful and go onto do great things after high school. Congratulations to both of them for representing our FamiLEE values so well!
