Throughout the school year, there are many different dates that are established to celebrate each of our amazing staff members that help the daily operations at our preschool program. Some of these include; custodians day, secretaries day, occupational therapy day, teacher appreciation week, school psychologist, paraprofessional day, etc.

Our Parent/Guardian Advisory Committee would like to host a celebratory luncheon on January 2, 2024 during the professional development day to honor all of these individuals at one time when they will be together.

Dear Families,

In January we are beginning a new them in our classroom, “Creative Me”. Children love to watch construction work. They are fascinated by big machines. This week, children will explore construction. They will learn the names of construction vehicles and how they are used. They will also be introduced to the different stages (steps) in building.

We’re so excited to continue exploring with your little one!

Our preschool licensing rules require us to have an updated medical statement on each student after EACH annual exam. The medical statement form is attached below. Take this form to your child's yearly exam to have completed by their pediatrician. If you need a form sent home, please let us know and we would be happy to print and send it home!

As a reminder, please know the time of your student's bus stop. We are happy to offer Here Comes the Bus as an aide for parents tracking their student's bus, but there may be some times when the app is not exact. We certainly do not want students to miss the bus, so please be sure your student is at their stop at the scheduled time. To remind yourself of your pickup time, visit our Transfinder page.

The Heart and Pride Award recognizes two outstanding staff members each month who make a profound impact on our students and Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools.

The Heart & Pride Nomination Form will remain available year-round and is open to any member of our staff, regardless of position.
