WISE Meeting Invitation
WISE Meeting - Sept. 17, 2025

Welcome to WISE!
Dear Families,
I hope your child is having a successful school year so far! As the Director of Educational Services at Woodland, I work closely with our administrative teams and teachers to ensure we are doing everything possible to support each student and address their unique needs.
We are committed to creating a positive school experience for every child to grow each day. Your partnership plays a vital role in this process, and I truly look forward to collaborating with you throughout the year.
Please see the information below about our first Woodland Inclusion and Special Education Parent Group (WISE) meeting of the 2025-2026 school year on Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. We hope you can join us for this event as well as the others planned for later this school year.

Please Join Us for the First WISE Meeting of the 2025-26 School Year - Sept. 17
WISE stands for Woodland Inclusion and Special Education Empowerment! This is a Special Education Resource Group for parents. Please join our network to help make WISE a great place to connect with other district families, get to know Woodland staff members who can help with resources, and get answers to your questions.
Date: Wednesday, September 17, 2025
Time: 5:30 - 7:00
Location: Woodland Educational Support Center (District Office), Oak Room
Topic: Positive Parenting: The C.U.B. System (Cooperation • Understanding • Behavior)
Parenting doesn’t come with an instruction manual—but it can come with tools! In this workshop, you’ll learn the C.U.B. System: Cooperation, Understanding, and Behavior. These simple strategies help reduce tantrums, encourage independence, and build your child’s self-esteem using positive reinforcement. Walk away with easy steps you can start using right away at home.
