Preschool for 2026-2027
Are you interested in your child being ready for kindergarten? The Thompson School District's Integrated Early Childhood Program provides quality preschool experiences for three and four year olds at 15 different sites around the Loveland and Berthoud area. If your child will be 3 or 4 years old by October 1, 2026, your child may be eligible to participate in the Thompson School District's Early Childhood Program. We ask all interested families to complete our Preschool Interest Form available on our preschool website. If you have any questions about our program, please call 970-613-5052.
Healthy Kids Survey
What is the Survey:
This January, our students will take the Healthy Kids Colorado Survey (HKCS), an important survey about student health. The survey asks students about health topics including unintentional injuries and violence; mental health; school safety; substance use; physical activity and nutrition; and risk and protective factors.
The survey results will help your school, community groups, and state health agencies to plan programs and services for youth. The survey is supported by the Colorado Departments of Public Health & Environment, Education, Public Safety, the Behavioral Health Administration, and the Attorney General’s Office, and is administered by the Colorado School of Public Health every other year. This project has been approved by your school district and the Colorado Multiple Institutional Review Board (COMIRB)
Students do not have to take the survey; they will be reminded of this at the beginning of the survey and can stop taking it at any time during the survey with no penalty. The survey takes no longer than one class period to complete. The survey process protects your student’s privacy, and no information is collected that can identify an individual student. Students do not get school credit for taking the survey, and there is no penalty for not taking the survey. Interested in opting your student out of the survey at Thompson Valley High School.
