Bellerive Bulletin

Dear Bellerive Families,

We had a great turnout at Culture Night on Friday. It was a wonderful event highlighting all the cultures that make Bellerive a special place. Thank you to all the parents and staff who presented or helped to organize the event! Please check out more photos from this event on Bellerive's Facebook Page.

In Partnership,

Winter Party/Movie Day Permission Slips Due

Strings Open House continues this week. Open House is a great opportunity to see firsthand what your child is doing in strings class. They will demonstrate the skills they have learned and perform some of the songs that they practice during class. Please review this letter for more information and the dates/times that your child has Strings class. Families may attend either class during Open House.

RSVP Needed: If you are planning to attend, please use this link to RSVP to help with setup and speed up the sign-in process at the office.

This is an all-day event. Treat yourself to lunch or dinner! Share with your coworkers and friends!

We are excited about the upcoming Winter Party, which is a schoolwide movie day! The flyer below will be sent home with your child this week. Please return it to your child's classroom teacher by Thursday, December 12th. Students are invited to bring a blanket or towel to donate to the Humane Society.

Our nurse's office is in need of back-up clothing for students who may need a change during the school day. If you have any gently used or new items your children have outgrown, we would greatly appreciate your donations.

Items needed:

• Boys' Pants (size 5/6)
• Boys' Underwear (size 5/6)
• Girls' Underwear (size 5/6)

Donations may be dropped off directly at the nurse's office during school hours. Thank you for helping us support our students!

As we enter the holiday season, many parents asked us to reshare this list of Staff Favorites.

In conjunction with our work with Leader in Me and the 7 Habits, this survey is an opportunity for members of our school community to provide feedback on a number of meaningful factors. For our students' families and caregivers, this includes feedback on the growth of your student, available supports, and areas for improvement. Please click here to complete this survey!

This holiday season we are calling upon the Bellerive Community to help support other families in need. Below, you will find links to wish lists containing items that we hope to provide for these families. If you would like to help, please look over the list and find some needs that you can help meet.

2 - When signing up, please include your child's name and teacher in case we need to communicate about a gift.
