Congratulations, Graduates!

The Class of 2025 Graduation Ceremony was held on Sunday, June 1, in the Den, surrounded by proud family and friends. A total of 68 OHS graduates took their final walk across the stage, inspired by heartfelt speeches from Class President Malia, Student of the Month Liam, Class Advisor Mrs. Ransom, Principal Mrs. Cady, and Superintendent Dr. Jones. The concert band gave one last performance together, playing The Climb from the Hannah Montana movie, while the choir performed Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by Green Day. The class motto, “Tonight, we steal the moon,” a quote from Gru in Despicable Me, captured the spirit of the day. The ceremony concluded with students recessing to their class song, A Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay. It was a memorable celebration, and we wish the Class of 2025 all the best in their future endeavors.

Kudos Lexi!!

Kudos Lexi!!

Lexi earned a perfect 36 on the ACT, an achievement reached by fewer than 1% of test takers, according to ACT National Profile Reports and BestColleges.com.

The ACT is a national exam used for college admissions, measuring students’ academic readiness for college-level work. Congratulations, Lexi! We are so proud of all you have accomplished!

Bubbling with Fun at the Final SOS Fox Time

During our final SOS Fox Time of the year, students had the opportunity to participate in a variety of healthy activities. One of the highlights was creating and blowing giant bubbles, which brought a lot of joy and excitement as students marveled at the impressive bubbles they were able to produce.

Sports Physical Reminder

Sports physicals are required before a student can begin practice. Sports physicals are good for two school years. Any physical that is dated before March 31, 2024, will not be valid for the 2025-2026 school year.

A reminder to parents that if you need a sports physical for your child this upcoming season, please try and have your WIAA paperwork done this month so the onsite clinicians can complete them before the summer break. The provider is typically here on Tuesdays and Fridays. There is not a provider available at school over the summer. If you would like to have the physical completed at school, plan ahead. Urgent medical needs must be cared for prior to physicals being completed. If you prefer to utilize your child's primary care provider, I encourage you to make an appointment well in advance. Lastly, as a reminder, the clinic in Walgreens has closed.
