Message from Ms. Gullo
Dear YSES Families,
Thank you for your continued flexibility as we finish another week of school. We were glad to see our students online yesterday and today after missing them earlier in the week due to our snow days.
As we continue to look ahead to our transition to the hybrid model, we want to share opportunities for our students and families in the coming week:
- The ABCs of Hybrid Learning at YSES – a slide show will be shared with our students and families to become familiar with procedures and routines for hybrid learning
- A video welcome from your teacher
- Virtual Meet & Greet Office Hour to meet your teacher and say Hello
- How to Prepare Children for Hybrid Learning – A virtual chat for parents/guardians with administration and Mrs. Workmeister, school counselor on getting your child ready for hybrid learning.
We look forward to our new start in the 2020-2021 school year. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support Yellow Spring Eagles!
Best regards, Sue

Parents can help with the adjustment of returning to school by teaching children the importance of wearing masks. This printable book explains why we need to wear masks, and it includes a coloring activity. Students should also start wearing their masks for extended times at home. This practice will help students get accustomed to the feel of the mask, and it will be one less adjustment when they return.
Hybrid Frequently Asked Questions
