Every month, several KPS elementary schools vote on a "Would You Rather" question. It's fun to compare results with other schools in our KPS family!

Our first Would You Rather question highlights favorite Mo Willems characters: "would you rather hang out with Piggie and Gerald or hang out with The Pigeon?"

2026-27 NORTHEASTERN LIBRARY HOURS:

Tuesday mornings

Wednesday afternoons

Thursday afternoons

Individual students or small groups (max 3 students at a time, please) are welcome in the library anytime the library is open - with teacher permission and a pass - unless a class is visiting.

The Northeastern Library is staffed with a library assistant 12 hours per week.

~Please note that Kalamazoo Public Schools Library books, at a quick glance, look very similar to books from the Kalamazoo Public Library. The acronyms are even similar: KPS v. KPL!!!

~KPS library books say Kalamazoo Public Schools on the barcode label. The label is on the back of the book. Some older books have the barcode label on the first page or two.

~KPS library books are also labeled on the inside of the front cover with the building the book is from.
