December 18th- Early Dismissal 1/2 day and K-2 Holiday Parties- No Kid Connection

December 19th-January 5th- Winter Break- No School

January 6th- Welcome Back

Arrival: We have many students who are arriving late each morning. School starts promplty at 7:45 am. All students should be in class before the tardy bell at 7:45. Video announcements begin between 7:45 and 7:50. Many students are missing their names being announced for birthdays, awards, shout outs and their time to be on the video! The announcements are a vital part of building our school community. We appreciate your efforts in getting your students to school on time.

Dismissal: Please have your child picked up no later than 3:20 unless they attend kid connection. Teachers often have after school meetings to attend that they need to get to. Thank you!

Holiday Party Badges

Our Holiday Parties are coming up on December 18th! All visitors must register for a preprinted badge to attend. Badges will not be printed the day of the parties. Thank you for your cooperation as we make the check in process as smooth as possible. Please bring your ID the day of our celebrations.

We will have a shuttle running from 8-10:45 from the church parking lot. If you utilize church parking and the shuttle, please be sure you catch a shuttle ride before the buses leave at 10:45 - they will need to begin their regular routes for early release. When parking in the church lot, please be sure to park closest to the Winter's Mill side of the parking lot.

Checkout: You will sign your child out with your child's teacher in the classroom. Teachers will have a sign out sheet for you.

Dismissal: Car rider dismissal is typically very short on early release days, please be in line by 11:50.

All unclaimed lost and found items with be donated on December 18th.

We wish you and your family a safe, healthy and joyful holiday season. Extended holiday breaks are a wonderful time for students to relax, rest, and rejuvenate for the next semester. But for parents and caregivers, it can sometimes be stressful. Linked here are some helpful tips to de-stress during this holiday season. The first one is our favorite---ACCEPT IMPERFECTION. We are perfectly imperfect human beings. We must never forget that.

Popcorn Fridays are here!! We will be serving up fresh popped popcorn 2x per month in class! Please use the following link to order your bags! You can order monthly for $3 per student or $20 for the year per student. Donations are always welcome! Provide a snack for a teacher or for the whole class! When ordering, please list your child's name and teacher name. If you are donating for a specific teacher or class, please include that in the notes section.
