Dear Parents and Students,

We officially have five more weeks of school. This year has flown by! Our students have completed M-STEP and PSAT testing and are working on the rest of the curriculum.

This last week, our dynamic PTO spoiled the entire staff with food, coffee, flowers and other treats. Our staff was so appreciative for the acknowledgements and they felt the love from students and families.

As many of you may have heard, Mr. Wozniak will be the CMS principal for the 2025-2026 school year and Mr. Doyle will be the assistant principal. I have decided to step down from administration after many years and will be heading back to the classroom. It has been an honor and privilege to be the middle school principal for the last three years. Please help me welcome Mr. Wozniak to his new role.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Best regards,

Michelle

Tik Tok Challenge Tik Tok Challenge

There is a new Tik Tok challenge and we need your help in making it stop. Students are putting pencil lead or other conductive material into the charging ports of their Chromebook in an attempt to cause sparks, the Chromebook to smoke or even catch fire. This causes the Chromebook to short circuit and is ruined. We have been making announcements to warn students but we still need you to help with this conversation.

Chromebook replacement cost is $317.00.

Bus Cards Bus Cards

This year, all students received a bus card that must be scanned each time they board the bus. Many students have chosen to keep their cards in their phone cases for easy access. Scanning the cards helps drivers keep track of who is on the bus, allows parents to monitor the expected arrival time, and helps ensure quicker routes.

However, several students have lost their cards. All students need to have their bus cards, as there will be a fee of $5.00 for each replacement card issued. Students can visit the office to request a replacement and make their payment at that time.

Thank you for your cooperation and support.
