Irving Elementary Weekly Update

Irving Families -

This week, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) released its annual School Report Card, and I’m proud to share that Irving has once again been designated a Commendable School. This rating recognizes schools that are performing well overall and showing strong student achievement. It reflects the hard work of our students, staff, and families — congratulations to our entire Irving community!

Next week, we have a few important events on the calendar. Our PTO Meeting will take place on Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the teacher’s lounge. We hope you’ll join us to hear updates and learn about upcoming school events. On Thursday, we’ll hold Parent-Teacher Conferences. There will be no school for students that day.

Looking ahead, Irving will host our annual Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 11th. We would like to honor and recognize family members of our students who have served in the military. If you have a family member you’d like to include in the assembly, please HERE to sign them up.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our school.
