GJPS Preschool Weekly Update

As a reminder, there is no school on October 20, 2025! We will see your child on Tuesday!

As a reminder, if you plan to pick up your child early, please contact the main preschool number instead of messaging your teacher (unless it is in advance). Our teachers are busy with students so they do not always check talking points before dismissal. Thank you!

Caring Cubs Club will be holding a food drive to support GRIN. If you are able to donate, please send items to school with your child. We will be collecting items until Tuesday, November 4th.

Dear Families,

Next week we’re beginning a new theme in our classroom, “Safe, Healthy, Helpful Me”. In the first week of this theme, we will learn about the people in our neighborhood and community that help us stay safe and healthy.

LATE PICK UP FEES

Parents/Guardians of peer model(s) who pick up their child after the scheduled pick-up time will be charged a late fee equal to $1.00 per minute, per child. Teachers will be asked to complete a Late Pick Up Acknowledgement form for parents/guardians who pick up their child after the scheduled pickup time. Parents/Guardians will be asked to sign the Late Pick Up Acknowledgement form and will be given a copy before leaving the preschool with their child. The fee must be paid in cash or check to the receptionist at Clark Hall, 380 Granville St., Suite B. Gahanna, Ohio 43230 before the child can be admitted back to their preschool class. If there are more than six violations, then your child may be dismissed from the program.

October 20- No School

October 23- Trunk or Treat @ Clark Hall

November 10- No School- Professional Development

November 14- Report Cards available on Infinite Campus/Progress Reports Come Home/Shared

November 26-28 Thanksgiving Break
