Bring It!
Your outgrown spiritwear, that is. To school. No extra trip to the resale shop required!
The PTO has placed boxes inside the main and student activities entrances to collect your too-small or rarely worn spiritwear. They are hoping to pass along items your kids have outgrown to others who can give them a second life.
The plan is for the boxes to be there throughout the year, so send 'em in!
🎃 Hallowpalooza – 7th Grade Halloween Social! 👻
Donations Needed
We're asking for parent donations of snacks and water jugs to help fuel the fun! We've made it easy with an Amazon Wishlist – just click, purchase, and we'll do the rest!
Volunteers Wanted
We also need parent volunteers to help out during the event with setup, supervision, and cleanup. If you can lend a hand, please sign up here.
Register for Snowflake!
Snowflake at Prairie takes place on November 19th after school. Snowflake is a program that enforces positive decision making and healthy behaviors.
Students participate in large group sessions led by a guest speaker which are followed by small group sessions. Each small group consists of 10-12 students, 3 high school student leaders, and an adult leader. Check out the Snowflake website for more information.
Registration can be completed through Revtrak and will close on October 31st - do not miss your opportunity!
Construction Update from the Village
The Village of Barrington has advised District 220 and the community that work on Route 14 may now last until the end of October. We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience navigating the morning and afternoon commutes and we will rally to get through this month. You can get updates from the village through their website.
