October Happenings

Hello, Sunrise Middle School Families -

Happy fall! As we enjoy "cooler" temperatures and all things pumpkin spice, please check out the SRMS PTO's newsletter for the latest updates.

Thanks to the Sunrise community's support and generosity, the PTO was able to organize another staff appreciation luncheon last month. You can check out pictures on Facebook and Instagram. If you'd like to donate items for October's conference dinner or replenish classroom supplies, please visit this Signup Genius.

We earned $36.06 for the SRMS Orchestra program from the dine-out fundraiser at Bruster's Real Ice Cream on 9/3 and a quarterly giveback of $123.27 from Kroger. As tradition continues, the Dance and Theatre students kicked off their Poppin' Popcorn fundraiser. If you'd like to get your hands on some delicious popcorn or other treats, while also supporting SRMS Dance and Theatre, please visit here. You can also support Sunrise's programs through the Direct Give Drive. Your support will help provide: Costumes, photography, guest artists, choreographers, workshops, professional master classes, and lighting designers.

Please read on for more news and ways you can get involved at SRMS. Thank you!

In Partnership,

Your 2025-2026 SRMS PTO Board

Upcoming Dine-Out Fundraiser Upcoming Dine-Out Fundraiser

Dine-Outs

What is a Dine-Out Fundraiser?

These fundraisers allow all of us to win! Companies give portions of the sales that are generated during one of our fundraisers to a specific program, club, or event at Sunrise Middle School... and there's one night where we don't have to think of what to cook or have any dishes to do! See below for the upcoming dine-out fundraisers and what programs at SRMS they are supporting. Thank you!

Panera Bread - SRMS Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) and Chess Clubs

On Wedneday, October 1 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Panera Bread is donating 25% of event sales to the SRMS D&D and Chess Clubs. Please show this flyer or use code FUND4U at checkout for the funds to go to Sunrise Middle School. Panera Bread is located at 4512 E. Cactus Rd., Phoenix.
