Flower Bed Revival with Native Plants

Mr. Seib's 4th and 5th graders have been learning about native plants in science class!

This week they planted native plants in the raised beds at recess. Everyone got a chance to get their hands dirty to make this a more welcoming space for the rest of the school and for native pollinators. Make sure you ask them to tell you what makes a plant native. A big thanks to the PTA for helping to fund this project!
