Five Good Things in Spring

From expanding Pre-K3 at Bammel to celebrating 16 seniors with $20K scholarships from Huntsman Corporation— April was packed with purpose! And our super proud Superintendent Dr. Hinojosa is here with a quick recap because here in Spring ISD, we don’t just show up — we show out! 💙

Talk about leadership in action! This week, we celebrated the incredible principals who make magic happen every day across Spring ISD. From greeting students with a smile to supporting teachers and building a campus culture where everyone feels seen and valued — our principals truly are the heart of our schools. They led with vision, passion and purpose, shaping the future one student, one decision, and one kind word at a time. You make Spring ISD the place to be. #NationalPrincipalsDay🌟🙌🏽

Now this is what support looks like! 🎓💙 A big shoutout to our amazing Spring ISD Education Foundation for showing up for our students in the best way possible. This week, they awarded 13 scholarships to our hardworking seniors — opening doors and helping dreams take flight! The Foundation’s commitment to education shines bright year after year. Because here in Spring ISD, we believe in lifting each other up — and investing in our future, one student at a time! 🌟

Armadillos showed up and showed out at the Vintage Houston Marathon Kids 1K! Not only did they take home 1st place overall, they also placed in every single age group — snagging seven shiny medals along the way! 🏅🔥Major love to the awesome parents for rising early, cheering loud and making the cutest goodie bags to keep the energy high. Team Reynolds brought the speed, the smiles and the spirit!

It’s National School Lunch Hero Day, and our cafeteria crews across Spring ISD showed up like the true superheroes they are! From early mornings to lunchtime rushes, they keep our students fueled, fed, and ready to take on the day. Check out some snapshots of our incredible teams in action.

Because around here, lunch isn’t just a break… it’s a mission.
