Mustang Message
February 20, 2026
Field Day is March 13th at Murchison Elementary, and we are so excited to share this year’s theme:
“Reading Rainbow… Take a look, it’s in a book—PE is everywhere!”
All of our stations will be inspired by favorite childhood books, and we can’t wait to show them off! We would love to invite you to come watch your child participate in this fun and active day.
Schedule:
PPCD–2nd Grade: 8:30–11:00 a.m.
3rd–5th Grade: 12:00–2:30 p.m.
More information will be coming in the next few weeks—we hope to see you there!
Calling all 3rd–5th grade girls! Girls Run the World is back and we are so excited to kick off a new season! This empowering program meets once a week and combines fun movement activities with meaningful character-building lessons that help girls grow in confidence, strength, and leadership.
Throughout the season, participants will train together and work toward an exciting goal, completing a 5K run! Spots are limited, so be sure to complete the registration form as soon as possible to secure your child’s place. If you have any questions, please reach out to jerissa.krasnonosenkikh@pfisd.net. We can’t wait to get moving and make this season the best one yet!
