Student Athlete Spotlight

Mekhi White (pictured above) ~ South Shore League Player of the Year

Mekhi White has been named the South Shore League player of the year. Coming off of a 1,600+ all purpose yard season and a combined 28 touchdowns, Mekhi was voted as a league MVP. Mekhi is also an honor roll level student and multi-sport athlete excelling in football and track, while taking AP level classes. Congratulations, Mekhi!

Last night, 194 fourth- and fifth-grade band and chorus students took the stage at Randolph High School for our Elementary Band and Chorus Informance, led by Mrs. Tracy Duguay. Students showcased skills unique to their instruments, shared ways families can support practice at home, and our young singers demonstrated the early foundations of harmonic singing through rounds and partner songs. It was a wonderful celebration of learning, growth, and musical community!

RHS Music Students accepted to the Southeastern Massachusetts Music Educators Association Senior District Music Festival. Read below or click on the attachment at the bottom of this section.

November 24, 2025

Four Randolph High School music students were accepted to the Southeastern Massachusetts Music Educators Association Senior District Music Festival and two received recommendations to audition for the Massachusetts All State Festival Chorus.

On Saturday, November 22nd , twelve RHS music students auditioned for the 2026 SEMMEA Music Festival. Students performed scales, solo literature and sight-reading passages for adjudicators. The RPS music department is proud to announce that four RHS students were selected to participate in this year’s winter festival. On January 9 th and 10th, selected students will be able to take part in the two day Senior Districts Festival, ending in a concert featuring skilled high school musicians from Southeastern Massachusetts.

Additionally, two students scored in the top 50% of all auditionees and are selected to audition for the Massachusetts All State Festival, which includes the highest performing musicians across the state. The All State audition takes place on January 24th , 2026. Accepted students will participate in a festival and concert March 19-21, 2026.

Congratulations to all of our students who auditioned this past weekend.
