Parent /Teacher Conferences
- Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, October 9th from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Friday, October 10th from 8 a.m .- Noon.
- If you did not sign up, please email your child's teacher to set up a time as soon as possible.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are an opportunity for students, parents/guardians, and teachers to focus on setting and/or reviewing meaningful goals. Teachers will be working with students to review their strengths and areas of improvement prior to the conference.
In order to prepare for these conferences, please reflect on this school year so far.
- What has been a success for your child?
- What has been a challenge?
- How can you support your child with reaching his or her goals?
The conferences will conclude with time for questions that you may have for your child or the teacher.
National Custodian Appreciation Day
Custodian Day is an annual observance dedicated to acknowledging and honoring the hardworking custodians who keep facilities clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. The Students and Staff at Anderson School are so very thankful and appreciative of Mr. Mike Velazquez. We crowned him the King of Clean! We are very thankful for his kind and competent work behind-the-scenes. Mr. Mike truly makes our school a wonderful (and clean) place for kids to learn.
Dear Anderson Car Rider Parents,
Let’s work together to help make our afternoon dismissal as safe and smooth as possible. Here are some friendly reminders:
- If you are in the car pick-up lane, please remain in your vehicle, do not exit to wait for your student.
- Pull all the way forward to make space for other cars behind you.
- DO NOT U-TURN on Villa Maria Road or in our bus circle!
- Please do not use your cell phone while driving through our campus.
- If you choose to park and stand on the front sidewalk, please refrain from gathering in large groups in front of the school doors. Please line up to the sides so kids can see their grown-ups when they exit the front doors.
- Unless you are in a designated parking spot, do not leave your car unattended in the parking lot.

The purpose of this Google Form is to help Anderson School families connect by collecting and organizing contact information that you may want to share with other families. We often receive requests from parents looking to connect with others in their child's class for organizing playdates, planning birthday parties, or sending thank you notes.
Please take a moment to fill out the questions below. You can share as much or as little information as you're comfortable with. The details you provide will be compiled into a view-only spreadsheet that will be accessible to all Anderson School families.
Mr. Jarot will then share the "View Only" spreadsheet, organized by Grade Level Teacher Tabs, with all Anderson Families.
New! District 303 attendance procedures
District 303 attendance procedures were updated and approved at the June 9, 2025, Board Meeting. All district procedures are available in the CUSD 303 Student Handbook found in the Parent/Community tab in the Information column of the districtd303.org website.
Updates to the attendance procedures were made to bring consistency across all schools within the district and to clarify student attendance expectations. One example of an update is the removal of the pre-arranged absence procedure. This aligns with the definitions of excused and unexcused absences found in Section 2.2.
Families are encouraged to review the CUSD 303 Student Handbook to familiarize themselves with the districtwide procedures.
