Spring is Coming!
Dear Families,
Spring is in the air! The flowers are blooming, the days are getting longer and we've had a few tantalizing days of warmer weather! As we continue to move forward into the second half of the year, we are looking forward to seeing continued growth in our students.
During spring, we often see students have that "Ah-ha!" moment when it comes to learning. Suddenly their brains are fully engaged and they begin making tremendous strides academically. As we enter this season of growth, let's make the most of it by continuing to support each other. Families, you can partner with us by helping to make sure your students come to school well rested, on time, and ready to make the most of their learning opportunities here at school. We appreciate you and look forward to celebrating all your children will achieve in the coming months!
In collaboration,
Lara Liden and Ashlie Moore

Shout-Out to Ollie's Mom!
Lone Pine would like to give a big THANK YOU and a shout-out to Ollie's mom. She has been coming to our school in the mornings to help with our car line. Thank you for helping make our drop off experience a safer, smoother start to the day! We appreciate you!
Reminder:
Dogs are not allowed in school pickup areas
Families, as the nice weather begins and more parents are walking to meet their children after school, we would like to make a quick reminder that dogs are not allowed in our school pickup zones. This includes the area at the top of the bus ramp, the area directly in front of the school, and the area around the soccer gate.
We know that most children LOVE dogs, but we do have many who are fearful of them. We also work hard to encourage our students to immediately connect with their families upon leaving campus. Having dogs at school exits, even on leashes, means that students are stopping to say hello to dogs and their owners rather than exiting as they are supposed to.
Please help keep our exits safe and flowing smoothly by leaving your pets at home or choosing to meet your student at a location just off campus. We appreciate your willingness to help us make dismissal easy and successful! Thank you!
