Dear DRE Families,

Thank you to everyone who came for our Parent Orientation evening! When we all know what to anticipate over the course of the year, we can support the most important members of our learning community -- our students. If you have any follow-up questions about the classroom, please reach out to your child's teacher. If you have any general questions, contact the office. We'll be happy to help!

Fall Picture Day Information

Enrollment Fees (REPEAT)

Our district relies on enrollment fees to ensure we are able to provide the highest quality education possible for all our students. If you have not had an opportunity to pay your child's fees, please enter your parent portal and do so today.

Families who qualify for free or reduced lunches may be eligible for reduced or waived fees. HOWEVER, there is an additional process, so the fee reduction or elimination is NOT automatic.

You may contact our bookkeeper, Mrs. Sirmans, to set up a payment plan or to find out about the fee reduction/elimination paperwork.

We will communicate with individual families over the course of the year to ensure all fees are paid. Thank you for working with us and taking care of this responsibility at your earliest opportunity.

Breakfast Items from Home

All students need to complete home breakfast items (both drinks and food items) before arriving at school. This reduces messes/spills around our building. Please remember that all students are able to have free breakfast at school every morning. Car riders need to leave items in the car or parents may pull into a parking spot for them to finish breakfast. Walkers need to throw away breakfast items before entering the building. Thank you for your support as we work to keep our building clean!

Please Be On Time

Thank you to our many families who ensure your students are here on time for the start of the day at 8:30. While emergencies happen from time to time, we encourage everyone to develop a habit of getting students here on time. Students often have a harder time adjusting to the day when they are late to school. In addition, if your child is a car rider, be sure to arrive a few minutes prior to 8:30. School starts promptly with the ringing of the 8:30 bell.

Also, remember to follow our car rider procedures. Students should not get out of cars out on the street. There is no safe place for students to cross. Cars are not to enter the front parking lot before 8:30 to ensure our bus riders and walkers can enter safely.

When we follow the established procedures, everyone says safer. Thank you for your support on these details!

Clever at Home - Login Information

If you would like your student to be able to access their i-Ready Individual Learning Pathway at home, you can do so by logging into Clever. Once students log into their Clever account using their Google login details or their QR code badge, they can access i-Ready lessons from home.
