Ingraham News
Woohoo~ It’s Homecoming Week at Ingraham
Homecoming is one of the students' favorite traditions, and it’s a big deal here at Ingraham! Each day has a fun spirit theme (see above), and the week is filled with Ram PRIDE and celebration. We’ll have a spirit assembly on Friday, daily hints for students to find the hidden Spirit Stick, and lots of opportunities to show your school spirit by cheering on our teams throughout the week. Classes will also be decorating their hallways, and the week wraps up with the Homecoming Dance this Saturday!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Curriculum Night! It was such a fun night. The Drumline and Mariachi Band were a huge hit—thank you to Mr. Henderson and Mr. Zeichner for making the evening so special.
Let’s make this an unforgettable Homecoming Week and show what Ram PRIDE is all about!

Ingraham Attendance
How can you help us reach our school attendance goal?
At Ingraham, our goal is a 90% attendance rate!! Right now, we are at 87.6%. Every day counts, and your partnership makes a big difference in helping students build habits for success.
Here’s how families can help:
- Talk about the importance of attendance. Encourage your student to show up every day. Being in class helps them stay connected to their teachers, peers, and learning.
- Schedule appointments outside of school hours whenever possible to reduce missed instructional time.
- Stay in touch with us. If your student needs to miss school or is having trouble attending, please call our attendance office early so we can work together to support your family.
What is Ingraham doing to improve attendance?
- Attendance team. We have a dedicated team that monitors attendance and works directly with students who are chronically absent to remove barriers and offer support.
- Ram Cam (Really, Attendance Matters Campaign). This is a schoolwide attendance competition we’ve run for the past two years and will continue this year. It’s a fun way to celebrate students and classes with great attendance (see the flyer below for details).
- Daily communication. Families receive an email and phone call if a student is marked absent, so you always know if a class is missed.

Ingraham will be offering these assessments on the morning of Thursday, October 23, making scores available to students on November 6. The SAT and PSAT are now completely digital for all students. Students must test on their district provided device (if they don’t have one, students need to get one). Device preparation will take place in school Oct. 20–22. Students can also find information on how to prep their device and access a test preview and/or test practice on their grade level Schoology Page.
Running Start students: if you plan to test at Ingraham, it is your responsibility to make a plan in advance to make that happen. If you have morning college classes talk with your professors about missing class. Get a district laptop as soon as you can, and make sure that Bluebook is available on the device.
Look at the district’s assessment page for more general details and be on the lookout for updates in future bulletins.
