They were all provided to Bellview this year through Ashland Schools Foundation grants!

Help raise funds for next year's great projects by joining us for a night of food, drink and community at the Bellview Outreach Party, April 22nd from 4pm-7pm at the Ashland Food Co-op classroom.

Sign up to volunteer here. And visit the Grants page of our website to learn more about all of this year's ASF-funded projects!

Here are a few ways to support the development of your child's executive functioning skills at home:

  • Create routines- morning, after school, bedtime
  • Post a family schedule or calendar for your child to refer to
  • Provide time for them to organize their things on a regular basis
  • Assign chores for each family member
  • Use timers for work or chore completion
  • Play games together, especially games that require some strategy

Counseling Changes at Bellview Counseling Changes at Bellview

Our School Counselor Michelle Bolinger is out on leave for the remainder of the school year. In her absence, our Behavioral Health Specialist, Britt Humphry, MS, LPC, Certified School Counselor and Child Development Specialist, is overseeing three counseling interns that will be directly serving our students.

Please welcome our Counselor interns Rose Otter , Carly Sadri, and Natalie Reyna Rodriguez. All 3 interns attend different graduate schools. Rose attends Bushnell, Natalie is at SOU, and Carly attends Portland state. Because they’re interns, they have special requirements for working with children. You may get a phone call or an email from one of them if your student is working with them individually.

If you have any questions or don’t want them to work with your child please contact Britt Humphrey. We are excited that Rose, Carlie and Natalie can be here and work with our students on a regular basis!

Ongoing need: Snacks Ongoing need: Snacks

zoom_out_map

We make some basic snacks available to students that don't have one in the office. The demand for snacks has grown exponentially this year. If you are able to pack a snack or two in your child's bag each day, please do! We are very active here at school and our student's brains need fuel for all that learning. If you are able to purchase any extra snacks to donate to the school, that would help our budget and our students tremendously. Please consider donating some healthy snacks if you are able. Thank you for all that you do to support our students!

Volunteering at School Volunteering at School

How To Become a Volunteer:

Step 1:
Complete the Volunteer Registration Form, which includes the Notice of Background Check form.

Once completed, please submit the forms and a copy of your driver’s license to the Office Manager of the school where the volunteer position is needed. Forms may also be mailed or faxed to the school office. If no school is specified, forms may be submitted to 885 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland, OR 97520.
Once you have passed your background check, you are cleared to apply to volunteer for any position throughout the school year. No additional background check is necessary, however, it is necessary to repeat this process each school year.
