Family Update
Dublin Jerome High School
AUGUST 22, 2025 | EMBRACE THE JOURNEY | WEEK 2
Week 2 Message
Good Afternoon!
We had a great week back here at Jerome. We all practiced the new MOD schedule and are adjusting to the new cell phone policy. However everyone is working hard and we are going to get a little better each day at it!
On Thursday and Friday we held class meetings to review a variety of topics. There were a few items that I wanted to share with you:
- Academic Integrity: Last spring the entire Jerome staff engaged in conversations surrounding academic integrity and developing clarity around the handbook policy for students. This summer our administrative team crafted a Academic Integrity Flow Chart that will be utilized if a student violates DCS policy. You may also review the DCS Handbook (pg. 33) for a more detailed review.
- Attendance Kiosks: Next week we will soft open new Attendance Kiosks for student check-in when arriving to school after the our start time. This kiosk will be collected into the queue and improve our accuracy. Students will receive a printed pass to take to class once entered. We are excited to add this new feature at Jerome!
- Student Goals: We also talked about some goals for 2025. (1) Make Mistakes (2) Build Skill using AI (3) Foster Relationships.

If you're interested in being a member of any extracurriculars and clubs around Jerome this is the place to find something that clicks.
NOTE: With the new phone policy we will NOT be having QR codes this year and instead every student will have the opportunity to pick up a master list of clubs and afterwards you are welcome to join any club from that list.
