What an awesome week at CGHS! We kicked things off with a special treat thanks to our APT, who generously provided an ice cream truck for our students. It was the perfect way to start the week!
Our students brought incredible energy to Spirit Week, showing off their pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wednesday was especially exciting as our volleyball team earned a huge win over Verona at our Dig Pink event! Our students showed up in full force to support the team, and we even had a special appearance from our very own Panther mascot! It was a memorable night filled with school spirit!
Thank you to our students, staff, and families for making this such a great week and showing what CGHS spirit is all about. Go Panthers!

Italian Heritage Month
In celebration of Italian Heritage Month, our Italian Club proudly raised the Italian flag at CGHS! This special moment was a wonderful way to recognize and celebrate Italian culture, history, and traditions.
Neuroscience Brains
In Neuroscience we built brains out of oranges and candy to understand the anatomy of the brain and what the different lobes and sections do.
Visit to the Apple Store!
On Friday, October 9th, Mrs. Parks' class visited the Apple Store at Willowbrook Mall for an interactive photography workshop focused on mastering the iPhone camera. During the 60-minute session, students experimented with hands-on photography techniques—learning how to frame a shot, test out creative features, and utilize built-in editing tools through a series of fun activities. Students brought their own devices or were provided one by the Apple Store to participate fully in the experience.
