6th Grade Updates - 10/11/2026
Week of October 11, 2026
A Note from the Dean
Greetings Pioneers!
What a lovely week it was! I enjoyed walking through art classes and seeing colorful and vibrant art projects using different elements. Students in PE classes were actively engaged in learning more about team handball! It's such a joy to have the opportunity to walk around and be a part of the learning happening at STM!
I had a wonderful time at our very first Hispanic Heritage Month family night! We had a great turnout, with around 150 people. I saw so many happy famililes!
Don't forget this Friday is our Battle of Route 7 game at Dominion High School! Gates open at 6. Tickets are $5. Hope to see you there!
We continue to review CLASS expectations, especially as it relates to walking in the halls and getting to class on time. As Pioneers with CLASS, one thing we can all work towards is to "see something, say something."
Our field trip is schedule for December 1st to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly! We will visit from 10-12 and I am seeking chaperones for this trip. Please complete this volunteer application form and return it back to school. If you need a paper copy sent home, please email me directly.
Thank you all you are doing at home to help support your child. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out!
Ms. Davison
