First year families (all levels of swimmers) - $100/swimmer
Families with Novice Swimmers - $125/swimmer
Families with Age Group development Bronze and higher level swimmers - $225/swimmer
All families are capped at a maximum of $450 in fundraising obligation
Unmet fundraising obligations are billed in July. To avoid this, check your fundraising balance on Teamunify and donate to the Swim A Thon.
So far 47% of our swimmers have logged donations for the Swim a Thon. If you have not yet done so, please visit the Teamunify site and click on the Swim A Thon banner. https://www.teamunify.com/team/vsnva/page/home You can quickly and easily make an online donation and complete your fundraising! You can also drop off a check, and in the memo line include Swim A Thon.
$33, 754 left to meet the goal of $115,000. We can do it if everyone participates! By Monday it would be great to see a HUGE number on the SAT lane line!
Thanks, Julie Farney

Practice Performer Of The Week
13 and over PPOW
Our 13 and over PPOW is Senior Gold's Ben Butterfield. Ben’s been leading lanes and taking names. Working hard and going fast inlay morning practices, doubles, and in the weight room. Well earned Ben!
12 and under PPOW
Our 12 and under PPOW is AGDS's Brady Rhodes. Brady has been working hard not just this week, but for several months consistently! She has really stepped up as a leader in the practice group overall, always leading a lane, doing the little things correctly, and even helping new swimmers to the group adapt and remember key aspects of drills. Her hard work has paid off with a recent slew of BB times, and we can’t wait to see what she can do this season. Great job, Brady!

Carson Brewer Award
On January 14th, 2020 NOVA lost a valued team member, loving brother, and cherished son. Carson is remembered by those who knew, loved, and coached him as not only a dedicated, hardworking, and disciplined swimmer, but also a tremendous teammate. Whether it was a meet or an ordinary day of practice, Carson showered those around him with support and positive energy. He was most often found behind a lane, cheering on his NOVA teammates with a huge smile on his face. The Carson M. Brewer Coaches Award was created to honor these noble qualities and inspire future 12 and Under swimmers to be devoted athletes, loyal friends, and unwavering teammates
