6th Six Weeks

Dear Intermediate School Families,

As we enter the final weeks of the school year, we want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and partnership. This has been a year full of growth, learning, and memorable experiences for our students, and we are excited to finish strong together!

The next few weeks will be busy, with several important events and activities taking place across campus. Please take note of the following:

  • End-of-Year Assessments: Students will be completing final assessments. 5th Grade students will be taking the Science STAAR on Tuesday, April 21st. All students will take the Math STAAR on Wednesday, April 29th. We encourage you to help your child get plenty of rest and arrive at school on time each day. No backpacks, please.

As we wrap up the year, attendance and remains very important. Every day of instruction counts, and we want all students present to participate in these final learning opportunities and celebrations.

Please note that student participation in end-of-year events is tied to behavior expectations. Students assigned to In-School Suspension (ISS) or Out-of-School Suspension (OSS) during this time may not be eligible to participate in certain activities, including field day and other celebrations. We appreciate your support in reinforcing positive behavior and helping all students make great choices as we finish the year.

Thank you again for your continued support throughout the school year. We are proud of all our students have accomplished and look forward to celebrating their success with you in the coming weeks!
