CHS Students Achieve Top Honors in National Merit Scholarship Program
Clayton High School is proud to celebrate 15 students who have been named Semifinalists in the 72nd Annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Semifinalists represent less than 1% of high school seniors nationwide and are among the highest-scoring entrants in each state.
These students now have the opportunity to advance to Finalist standing and compete for approximately 6,700 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $24 million.
Find out who made the list and join us in congratulating them on this outstanding achievement.
Supporting Clayton Families Throughout the Year
Thank you to everyone who contributed food, essential items or financial support to help stock the District’s food pantry and assist Clayton families. We are grateful for the generosity of our community and the many ways people continue to care for one another.
While the recent food and essentials collection drive has ended, needs arise throughout the school year. If you would still like to help, there are two easy ways to assist the District’s social work team as they work with students and families:
- Purchase items from the Amazon wish list to be sent directly to the District's social work team.
- Make a monetary donation online to the Food and Essentials Fund.
Thank you for continuing to support Clayton students and families throughout the year.
Introducing ParentSquare: Clayton’s New Communication Platform
To make it easier for parents, guardians and staff to stay connected and informed, Clayton is introducing **ParentSquare**, a new communication platform that will bring school and District messages together in one convenient place. ParentSquare will be used for emergency notifications, newsletters, announcements and other important updates.
The transition will take place gradually over the next year as schools, teachers, PTOs, coaches and other groups begin using the platform. Additional information was shared with families and staff this week. If you missed it, visit the District website to learn more about ParentSquare and what to expect.
