๐ก Did You Know? Teleport Rules & Laptop Avatars
Weโve seen a lot of teleporting latelyโso hereโs a quick rundown to help you and your students navigate the Zone like pros:
๐ Teleporting Too Close?
If a student tries to teleport while standing right next to someone, theyโll get a message that says theyโre too close to move. Just take a few steps away and try again!
โฑ๏ธ Teleport Cooldown:
If a student teleports more than 5 times in a single minute using the Current Guests list or Friends list, theyโll hit a 1-minute cooldown where teleporting is temporarily disabled.
๐งโ๐ป What's That Sitting Dragon Doing?
If you spot a student avatar sitting cross-legged with a laptop (like the blue dragon above ๐๐ป), it means theyโve clicked outside of the Zone and are currently using another window or tab on their computer. Itโs a great visual cue to know whoโs actively engaged and who might be multitasking!

๐ K12 Zone 24/25 Goals: Building Connections & Engagement Together!
This year, weโre working together to make the K12 Zone an even more welcoming and engaging space for all students and teachers. Our shared goal is to ensure that:
โ
Every K12 student knows the Zone is a place to connect, make friends, and build community.
โ
Every teacher and student experiences the K12 Zoneโexploring its features and possibilities.
โ
Teachers and students are engaging in the Zone for at least 30 minutes a week, making it a fun and valuable part of learning.
Weโre excited to continue growing the K12 Zone together! THANK YOU for helping make it a place where students connect, learn, and thrive. ๐
