Timber Trace Tiger Times

The teachers and staff at Timber Trace Elementary are so proud of our Fifth Grade graduates! We wish them the very best as they continue their journey to middle school! We look forward to watching their amazing accomplishments in the coming years! Remember fifth graders, "once a tiger always a tiger"! We will miss you!

We encourage families to monitor technology use at all times and particularly during the summer months. Students can access several online programs from school such as iReady Math and Reading and Raz kids. Please monitor students during their usage. We discourage cell phone use for our elementary age students but if they are accessing cell phones, always monitor for your child's safety.

Parents,

Please partner with us in creating a successful start to the new school year by supporting your child in reading all throughout the summer. Research shows that students who do not engage in reading during the summer months can experience a "summer slide" in their reading achievement when they return in August. Provide opportunities for them to access books during the summer. Listed below are the summer reading recommendations and summer projects for students in each grade level. Students who turn in their summer reading folder in August will attend a Reading Celebration!
