Message From School Administration Message From School Administration

Dear Lisbon Families,

It was wonderful to see so many of you at our 50th Celebration and Fall Festival this past weekend! We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make this event possible. We are excited to have more amazing community events coming up in the months ahead! Please check out the PTA newsletter, published on Thursdays, as well as the Important Upcoming Dates and Events section below, and mark your calendars. There are so many wonderful opportunities to come together as a community in the weeks ahead!

We would also like to highlight Bullying Prevention Week, which begins next week. We strive to make Lisbon Elementary a place where all students and families experience belonging. Please see the information below about our Spirit Week, which promotes standing together against bullying. We can't wait to see the creative and fun ways our students show their commitment to kindness through the different daily themes!

Have a wonderful weekend,

Dr. Carr & Mrs. Conklin

Student Meals & Payments Student Meals & Payments

For the 2026-2027 school year, HCPSS will be using LINQ Connect for all things food and nutrition. LINQ Connect is a secure, online portal that allows families to make online payments to their child’s meal account, monitor their child’s account, schedule automatic recurring payments, set up low balance alerts, submit a Free and Reduced Meals program application, and more.

Free and Reduced Meals-check your eligibility today! Free and Reduced Meals-check your eligibility today!

Students whose families do not qualify for free or reduced lunch will be required to pay the daily meal price. Many HCPSS families are eligible to participate in the Free and Reduced Price Meals (FARMs) program, which provides children with a wide range of benefits including free or discounted college tuition, testing and application fees, academic and athletic program fees, and many others in addition to free or discounted meals. Families are urged to check their eligibility and complete a FARMs application as soon as possible. Families must submit a new application every school year. Details on the Free and Reduced Meals program, including a link to apply, are available online.

Related Arts and the Color Calendar Schedule Related Arts and the Color Calendar Schedule

Students participate in Related Arts daily for one hour. There are five related arts classes: Art, Media, Music, Physical Education, and Technology. The rotating schedule is called the Related Arts Color Calendar and can be found in the HCPSS Calendars section above. We rotate days using the color calendar because there are a disproportional number of days off on Mondays and Fridays. Your child's teacher will share their specific Related Arts schedule with you and your child. It is important to make sure your child dresses appropriately for the classes he/she has for related arts, especially for physical education. Please see above for the Related Arts calendars.
