Native American Heritage Month - Book Giveaway!
Did you know that November is Native American Heritage Month? Along with the state of Michigan, Wisconsin has the most federally recognized American Indian Nations east of the Mississippi. Our state is rich in Native American culture. Check out the book display in our library this month.
When you are browsing for books, enter your name for a chance to win a book by and about Native Americans.
Want to learn more? Check out the Middle and High School booklists from Wisconsin First Nations to discover and learn more about American Indian Nations. You can also visit the Wisconsin PBS website to learn more and watch Wisconsin First Nation stories.

Disguise your Turkey! 🦃

Scholastic Book Fair
Continue to shop on the Book Fair Website until November 23rd. 25% of every online purchase directly benefits our school.
Get ready—the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school! Studies show that kids read more when they choose books for themselves. And fostering a love of independent reading leads to a wide variety of benefits—including academic success and improved mental health.

While you’re there, set up a Book Fair eWallet, the digital payment account that allows you to
shop for books at the Fair without cash. Then share your eWallet link so friends and extended family can add funds. When you fund an eWallet, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a giving initiative called Share the FairTM. Your contributions directly support our students who need help buying books from the Fair.
Do you need volunteer hours? High School Students can sign up in the Library Media Center to volunteer during their Study Hall or Fox Time.
High School Book Drive
The High School Book Drive runs from November 10th - November 21st!
Drop off books that are K-5th grade appropriate with your Fox Time Advisor. The Fox Time with the most books donated will earn a Breakfast during a future Fox Time!
Last Month's Library Winners (October)
Here are our winner's for the Candy Corn Guessing Game and the Two Sentence Scary Story Contest:
Candy Corn winner - Jackson D. guessed 160. There were 160 pieces of candy corn in the jar. Way to go Jackson!
Two-Sentence Scary Story Contest Winners:
1st Place: Madi F.
I don’t know what’s worse. The fact that I decided to have a staring contest with my sister’s doll, or the fact that I won.
2nd Place: Ayla N.
As sleep begins to claim me, I hear a faint knocking— I could’ve sworn I did everything right, there’s no way it could escape now… But a rumbling slowly replaced the knocking, and the rumbling turned into a creaking, and that’s when I realized— I’m the one who won’t escape.
3rd Place: McKenzie B.
I held my daughter as she cried and begged me to check for monsters. I tucked her into bed and locked the closet, so they wouldn’t get her.
Thank you everyone who submitted a scary story. They were all so much fun to read!
