See Me, Hear Me: Cyberbullying assembly
Today GMS students participated in an assembly brought to us for FREE from the American Legacy Theatre. The See Me, Hear Me: Cyberbullying program is an initiative focused on empowering students to recognize and respond to cyberbullying. The presentation will help students understand the impact of digital interactions, learn safe and appropriate ways to seek help or support others, and promote a positive school culture where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. This program is an important step in fostering empathy, kindness, and digital responsibility among our students. For those who’d like more background, feel free to explore their website here: https://www.americanlegacytheatre.org/see-me-hear-me-cyberbullying — there you’ll find details about the program’s goals, format, and how it supports our students. Thank you for your support in encouraging and reinforcing these messages within your homes and our school community.
Student IDs - Student FREE Admission to Home Games
As we continue to promote a safe and positive environment at our athletic events, we are updating our entry procedures for all home games.
Beginning immediately, all middle school and high school students must present their student ID at the gate to receive free admission to Graham athletic events. Their ID will be scanned for free entry to the event. An adult must accompany Pre K-5 students, who will continue to receive free admission to Graham Athletic Events.
Please note the following important details:
Students in grades PreK–5 will not have district-issued IDs, but must be accompanied by an adult at all athletic events.
Middle school and high school students must show their student ID at the gate for free entry.
If a student does not have their ID, they will be required to pay the student ticket price for admission.
If a student loses their ID and needs a new one, a $10.00 fee will be charged to their student account.
This process helps us ensure that Graham students are receiving the free admission benefit and that our events remain safe and enjoyable for everyone.
We appreciate your cooperation and support as we continue to build Falcon pride and maintain a great game-day experience for our community.
** GMS students will receive their IDs on Thursday, 11/13 during Homeroom. If the student was absent for picture day, they will receive them shortly after retakes on 11/17.
Picture Retakes- Monday, 11/17
Reminder to anyone who plans to do picture retakes, our retake day is November 17th. If you plan to return your photos, they will need to come back with you on retake day. Anyone who was absent on picture day will have your picture taken on November 17th as well.
