ELEMENTARY INFORMATION
A Message from Elementary Director Mr. Anderson
Happy Friday my friends!!! Between costumes, apples, some grade level field trips, and our students stepping up as leaders, we have plenty to celebrate this week!
First of all, our kiddos brought so much creativity and personality to yesterday’s parade! It was fun seeing their costumes and excitement as they celebrated together.
A special thank-you to our Dean of Students, Mrs. Boren, for organizing the parade, and to our teachers and staff for all the planning and energy they gave that made yesterday special. Thank you, families, for joining in the fun! It was so great to see all of you cheering on your kiddos!
How did it go for your family? Please share your thoughts through our Halloween Parade Feedback Survey so we can keep making it better.
Another fun event we had this week was Wednesday’s Utah Apple Crunch Day! It gave us a delicious way to celebrate Utah agriculture! Our apples came from McMullin Orchards in Payson, and our 6th Grade Eagle Council members helped pick them up and get them to school. Thanks for lending a hand, Eagles!
ALA supports local agriculture by purchasing Utah-grown fruits and vegetables, along with Utah-produced milk and ground beef, for our school meals. A big thank-you to our lunch director, Mrs. Lindy Johnson, and her lunch staff, for feeding our kiddos each day and helping make this celebration happen!
I also want to give another shout-out to our Eagle Council for organizing Red Ribbon Week and creating fun videos that encouraged students to choose good, healthy things to put into their bodies. I’m proud of them for using their creativity to lead and serve. That’s our RISE UP values in action!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this week memorable. It’s been a full week, and I’m grateful we get to share these moments with your kiddos.
Have a fun, safe Halloween weekend, my friends!
