Happy early weekend to our SHS students, and congratulations on making it to the end of the 3rd Quarter! The change of the quarter always brings along some exciting events the following week. Grade cards will be going home on Tuesday, followed by Honor Roll announcements on Wednesday at Morning Opening. We will also do our 3rd quarter HEART kids celebration on Friday, March 13th, to celebrate all of the Virtuous Behavior displayed by students over the 3rd Quarter. We will be in the Parish Hall with a little friendly dodgeball game with staff and students.
Here is your friendly school reminder that daylight savings time begins this Sunday, March 8th. Clocks will be moved forward an hour, and while your morning commute might be a bit darker for a while, I hope your families can take advantage of the additional hour of sunlight in the evening. Help your student adjust to the time change by helping them get to bed a little bit earlier this weekend.
Kindergarten Round-up is scheduled for April 7th, and we are getting really excited for the upcoming year! If you know of anyone who might be interested in SHS for their Kindergartener, please have them reach out to the office or fill out the information request on the school’s website. I am excited to take this first step with our Kindergarten families for next year. .
Next week will be the last week to receive a $75 tuition credit for the 2026-2027 school year by getting your registration in. So take advantage of some savings for next year, and check one more thing off your to-do list. Note that if your family is looking to apply for tuition assistance, the deadline is May 1st.
