5th & 6th Grade Center

Fall 2020 is finally here! The dedicated 5th and 6th Grade Center staff are ready to see the students smiling faces, hear the hallways full of laughter and enjoy classrooms filled with learning. The extended break and long summer has been an interesting time for everyone. We appreciate you and all of the hard work you have done to help your child/loved one stay engaged and excited about learning. We understand that while this should be an exciting time for many it is one of discernment as you prepare to send your child/loved one back to school. Please know we are here for you and will be happy to address any concerns you may have. As the district prepared and presented a reopening plan, we have been working hard within the building to make sure we are doing all we can to ensure the safety and well-being of your children. Our primary goal is to provide a safe, predictable and stable learning environment. We want to work with you to help ensure your child/loved one has a safe, enjoyable and successful school year!

Due to safe practices for COVID19 we will be hosting a VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE!

Student schedules will be released and available for view via parent portal on August 18th. You will have an opportunity to visit classroom and homeroom teacher virtually on August 20th by logging into google classroom where you will find a link to the google meet. 5th grade will be hosting from 4p.m.-5p.m. and 6th grade from 5p.m.-6p.m. Teachers will meet in fifteen minute intervals. You will receive a time and link to the meeting from homeroom teacher prior to this time. Also, a VIRTUAL 360 Tour of the building will be coming soon!

Enrollment is REQUIRED for all students. If you do not have a Parent Portal account or are unfamiliar with the online registration process, please go to https://sikestonr6.org and click the "Online Registration" tab. If you need further assistance, please contact the school office. It is imperative that we have updated information for the overall safety and well-being of your child/loved one.
