Rogers Beat
Week of August 24th, 2026
Rogers Families,
We just completed a great week at Rogers. Students had their first block days and advisory periods of the year along with our PTO kicked off their fundraiser. These are the reminders of how much support we truly have! From volunteering or supporting through a fundraiser - we appreciate each family for helping to make Rogers a special place.
This week we will have our first pep rally for the year - specifically for our 6th graders. Make sure to wear your Wildcat gear or navy and bring your school spirit! It's going to be a blast! Volleyball also gets underway on Thursday with a scrimmage against Reynolds at Rogers. If you plan to attend please make sure that you review the clear bag policy below in the newsletter.
Below is a message from our PTO:

District Wide Clear Bag Policy
Please remember, PISD has a clear bag policy district wide for any sporting events. Gameday safety is our #1 priority! This includes students and their backpacks during middle school games. Students will not be allowed to enter the stadium or gym with a backpack.
Free Student Athletic Passes
The 2026-2027 free student game passes will go live on the HomeTown ticketing website and app (on the Prosper ISD Events page) on Monday, August 17th and will remain available through Monday, September 7th. We are excited to share that this year, students in grades 7-12 will use their student ID number to access their free digital pass.
Another cost effective ticket purchase option for our middle school families and fans-Punch Passes. Punch passes in quantities of 10 and 20 are available now! This option helps to keep the credit card fees at a minimum for our large family groups or fans who frequent a large number of events.
