Greetings Lindblom MSA Eagles community,

Today marks our two-year anniversary together. I am so grateful for all that we have accomplished together thus far. The glue that keeps us growing forward together is our shared vision, collective commitment, and belief in what is possible for our students.

Over the past two years, we have strengthened our academic programs, expanded opportunities for advanced coursework, and increased access to meaningful learning experiences. We have made important strides in improving attendance, cultivating a positive and inclusive school culture, and creating spaces where students feel safe, seen, heard, and valued. Our staff continues to lead with dedication, and our students continue to rise to meet high expectations with resilience and pride.

We have also deepened our sense of community through building stronger partnerships with families, elevating student voice, and reinforcing our “Be”lief Pillars. These accomplishments are evidence of what happens when a school community commits to growth and one another.

As we head into spring break, please take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy moments with family and loved ones. When we return, we will enter the final stretch of the school year with focus and determination. Let’s finish strong together.

Together we rise onward and upward,

Principal Banks

BE SUPPORTIVE BE SUPPORTIVE

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! Our 7th and 8th-grade Academic Center students have been gifted a completely free, exclusive skate party!

Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 8, 2026 (Colloquium Day). From 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, we will be at The Rink for a morning of fun. Skating admission and rental will be completely free of charge for our students.

A few important details:

Concessions: While skate rental is free, students will need to bring their own money if they wish to purchase anything from the concession stand.

Lunch: The Rink has kindly agreed to allow our students to bring their own bagged lunches. We are currently looking into the possibility of ordering boxed lunches for everyone, and we will update you as soon as we know more.

More details regarding the trip, including transportation and permission slips, will be sent out soon. For now, please save the date because the AC Swoop Bounce is officially on the books!

Hamilton Q & A Panel

For the past several weeks, the Honors U.S. students have been working with Gilder Lehrman's Hamilton Education program and doing research to create their own creative interpretations of American history. With the conclusion of their projects, members of current touring cast and the sound director of Hamilton visited the school to engage our students in a Q&A panel.

Illinois School Counselor Association

The Illinois School Counselor Association is asking for your support as legislation designed to strengthen the school counseling pipeline moves forward in the Illinois General Assembly.

HB 4360 and companion bill SB 2977 are scheduled for a hearing on Friday, March 20. These bills would establish a paid internship program for school counseling interns and provide compensation for cooperating school counselors who mentor graduate students during their required field experiences.

Across Illinois, schools are experiencing challenges filling school counseling positions. At the same time, many graduate students face significant financial barriers while completing the full-time, unpaid internship hours required for certification. This legislation aims to remove those barriers while strengthening the preparation and support of future school counselors.
