Notes from the North Park Hive
A little BUZZ from the principal
Thankful for All of YOU!
Dear Families,
I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weekend! We have several busy days leading up to Thanksgiving break! To our veterans - I hope you had a nice Veterans Day this past week. Thank you for your service and sacrifices.
Thank you for your support of our fundraiser!! WOW! We were able to profit $7400. Thank you for your support!!!
Thank you for the ongoing food donations for our Family Resource food drive! It will wrap up soon. We have such generous families!!
The Thanksgiving holiday meal sign-ups will close on Tuesday. We are unable to add names after that. The sign up is linked below. The cost is $5 and you MUST register in advance. Preschool families will be attending our Christmas Holiday Meal in December.
We do have one more item we will ask for assistance with this semester - treating our staff the week before Christmas. We have a very large staff (over 100) and we like to do things to encourage them in the wild days before Winter Break. We try to use money "raised" for our students, so we do not have funds for staff treats. Each year, we have made a wishlist and parents have done an amazing job helping purchase items off the list. I know teachers appreciate it and we always try to tell them that parents make the treat days possible!!! The Amazon list is posted below. We also need sponsors (parent or business) for a few items that come from Sam's Club or Wal-Mart. If you can help with those items, just sign up so I can be in touch.
If you need assistance with the app in any way, please call the NPES office at 270-351-4464 or email laurabeth.hayes@hardin.kyschools.us
Sincerely,
Mrs. Hayes (principal)
