Dear RCP Families,

As we brought Black History Month to a close at RCP, we held our all-school assemblies in which many students shared what they had researched and learned over this past month about the amazing contributions of African Americans in the history of our country. Please check out the highlight video HERE.

Staffing for 25-26: As sent out early this week, I am in the process of gathering input on our priorities as a school on how best to staff our building to meet our goals. If you have not already done so, please give us your input by completing this survey by Monday, March 3rd at noon. Our Site Council and Instructional Leadership Team will be reviewing your responses to inform their recommendations.

Parking Lot Painter Needed: We are looking for a contractor who is willing to redo the parking lot lines pro bono. If you know of someone who would be willing, our RCP team would be very grateful. The financial situation with the district makes this work a very low priority. Please contact me if you can help.

We had a great turn out for OBOB this week with our 14 teams competing Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Congratulations to all 3rd-5th graders who have worked hard these past few months reading and practicing with their teams. Our school final battle will be next Friday, March 7th!

To celebrate Women's History Month in PE, I will be highlighting our female and non-binary students who participate in sports and physical activities outside of school. Please send me a picture (or video) with your best action shots of your student. They will also be highlighted at our next assembly in March. Send to dmcsherry@pps.net
