East Facility/Construction Update

Dear East Parents and Community Members,

I am excited to host a Glenbard East Facilities Community Forum and Construction Update on Wednesday, April 16, from 5:45pm to 6:30pm, in Biester Auditorium. We last shared a facility/construction update with a video in October, which can be found here. You can also find detailed, up-to-date information on the Glenbard District 87 Facilities Master Plan website. The projects slated for Glenbard East represent significant additions and renovations, and we want to ensure that we are providing regular updates and opportunities for feedback.

On April 16th we will provide updates on the following:

• The overall design, including renderings of the new additions
• An overview of the general classroom updates that will happen throughout the building
• An overview of the updates and improvements to our site, including athletic spaces
• The overall D87 four-year construction project schedule
• The referendum funding and bond issuance plan

As always, we appreciate the relationship that we have with our East families and neighbors, and want to be proactive in our communication when it comes to these construction projects. I hope you’ll be able to join us on the 16th. Please note that the community forum will be immediately followed by our Future Rams Athletic and Activity Fair starting at 6:30pm in Mares Fieldhouse. It will provide our incoming Class of 2029 and their families the opportunity to learn about all of our extracurricular programs.
